Impeccable development for a thrillingly unusual brand experience.

We partnered with the designers at Ania et Lucie to create a home for designer Ulla Johnson’s line of women’s clothing. We were excited to realize an ambitious vision for the site, with densely layered pages and elegant animations, while keeping the customer experience driven and performant.


Densely layered pages

Full of full-bleed images and overlays, the Ulla Johnson site is sumptuous to browse. We emphasized the shopping journey while keeping conversion front and center with multiple paths to purchase and clear messaging. The result has helped the brand dramatically increase sales.


Building a complex backend integration

The Ulla Johnson online storefront is just one of the designer’s sales channels. In order to connect the site with two boutiques and an ERP system we built a custom Rails integration that keeps Shopify in sync and passes orders to be fulfilled.


An international experience

We integrated to the site to allow international customers a tailored experience, with dynamic price conversions, specific shipping options, and customizable product availability. The post-purchase experience keeps pricing consistent in the currency the customer used to check out. All this from a single, easily administered store admin.
